ABOUT MY ORDERING PROCESS
I generally open the website every 10-12 weeks or so. The openings are typically Unlimited Pre-Orders, meaning that nothing will run out of stock. You can order as little or as much as you want, and every order is a custom order. When the website opens, every scent listed on the Scent List will be available to order in any of the shapes and sizes that are shown in the Products section. We carry over 200 scents at any given time, including Disney inspired scents, and seasonal scents.
The website will close once the order volume reaches capacity. Capacity is the volume of orders that I can make within my stated TAT. That may mean the website will remain open for an hour, a few hours, or a full day, I never really know so don't dawdle.
Everything is made fresh, and because I am a one woman operation, and I work a full-time job in addition to my wax business, please allow 6-8 weeks for processing (does not include the weekend of the pre-order, holidays or shipping time). After all orders are shipped, I will take a break, catch my breath, and then open up again
A LITTLE ABOUT ME:
I started making wax as a hobby in 2010 out of a passion for all things scented, crafting, creating, and the love of a wonderful smelling home. I love the idea of being able to create a mood and feeling through scent, and being able to enjoy a variety of different scents all year long. After years of wax making as a hobby, I officially launched my company in 2014.
All orders are shipped via USPS priority mail (includes tracking), to the mailing address provided during check-out. Tracking information will be emailed to the email address provided during checkout once your order is ready to go. Shipping times are in accordance with USPS, and the expected delivery date provided by USPS is not guaranteed.
Shipping prices are based on the weight and destination (from my zip code in Arizona to yours) and is based on current USPS shipping rates. In the event that shipping costs are over charged, and/or your order can safely fit in a smaller box, overages in excess of $1.00 or more above actual shipping costs will be refunded back to you. All orders are carefully packaged to prevent damage. Unfortunately, I have no control over how your package is handled once it is accepted by the post office.
If you are local to me (Gilbert, AZ) and wish to make arrangements to pick up your order, please use the code LOCAL PICKUP during the checkout process. I will contact you once your order is ready.
Due to the nature of wax, it may soften and/or melt during transit. If this should occur, allow wax to cool and harden. It will be functional for melting and use, and is not considered a damaged item.
CONCERNS WITH ORDER
I take great pride in my products and want you to be happy with your order.
Scent and strength is personal and is very subjective, therefore returns will not be accepted if a scent/strength is not to your liking. Detailed scent descriptions are available for review. If you are unsure about a scent, please feel free to ask for additional information.
If you have other concerns with your order, please contact me and allow me to work with you and attempt to resolve the situation. Each situation will be handled on a case by case basis.
Returns/refunds are only accepted if an item has not yet shipped, or if the package is refused upon delivery and returned unopened within 10 days of shipment (minus shipping costs). Return shipping charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Due to the nature of custom items (custom loaves), these are non-returnable.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
WHAT TYPE OF WAX DO YOU USE?
I use an all paraffin custom house blend. It is soft enough to cut with a butter knife, yet hard enough to maintain and hold its shape.
DOES YOUR WAX REQUIRE A CURE TIME?
No, it is fully cured when it arrives in your mailbox and can be melted and enjoyed immediately. To cure wax simply means to allow it to age and strengthen. While not necessary to wait, wax does tend to strengthen with time (like a fine wine) and many wax enthusiasts do prefer to allow wax to cure before melting.
WHAT IS THE BEST TYPE OF WARMER TO USE?
My wax works best when melted in electric hot plate style warmers, however it can be used in all types of warmers. The higher wattage warmers will provide a stronger scent throw for a shorter period of time, while the lower wattage warmers will provide a lighter scent throw for a longer period of time. My personal preference is a 24 watt hot plate warmer.
DO YOU TEST YOUR SCENTS?
Absolutely. I am very picky, therefore new scents will not be added to the scent list until they have been tested. I strive for scents that are authentic and strong.
ARE YOUR SCENTS ONLY AVAILABLE SEASONALLY?
My scents are available all year long, however less popular scents may be retired from time to time.
WILL YOU BE ADDING NEW SCENTS?
Blending and creating new scents is what I enjoy most about making wax, so there is a good chance that new scents will be added.
HOW MUCH WAX SHOULD I USE IN MY WARMER AT A TIME?
The amount of wax to melt at a given time is a personal preference. Some choose to melt an entire scent cup or wax melt at one time, while others choose to cut the wax in half or even in thirds.
DO YOU INCLUDE SAMPLES?
Random samples are included with orders (except with the purchase of specialty items).
